- The supply of solar modules is to the operator of a photovoltaic system, including essential components for the operation of a photovoltaic system, and the storage unit used to store the electricity generated by solar modules, if the photovoltaic system is installed on or near private residences, apartments, and public and other buildings used for activities serving the common good. The conditions are deemed fulfilled if the installed gross capacity of the photovoltaic system, according to the market master data register, does not exceed or will not exceed 30 kilowatts (peak).
- Operators of the photovoltaic system are natural persons, legal entities, or associations of persons who are fundamentally required to register as operators in the MAStR (Market Master Data Register) at the time of performance. Actual registration in the MAStR (e.g., in the case of balcony power plants) is not decisive for the operator status.
- You provide us with proof that the factual conditions for applying the zero VAT rate are met. It is sufficient for you, as the purchaser, to declare in writing that you are the operator of the photovoltaic system and that it is an eligible building, or that the installed gross capacity of the photovoltaic system, according to the MAStR, does not or will not exceed 30 kW (peak).
Should it subsequently become apparent that these conditions are not met, contrary to your confirmation (e.g., through an external audit), you agree to the subsequent invoicing of the underpaid VAT.
