  • Solar modules are supplied to the operator of a photovoltaic system, including the essential components for operating a photovoltaic system, and the storage unit used to store electricity generated by solar modules, if the photovoltaic system is installed on or near private residences, apartments, as well as public and other buildings used for activities serving the public good. These conditions are considered fulfilled if the installed gross capacity of the photovoltaic system, according to the Market Master Data Register, does not exceed or will not exceed 30 kilowatts (peak).
  • The operators of the photovoltaic system are natural persons, legal entities, or associations of persons who, in principle, are required to register as operators in the MAStR (Market Master Data Register) at the time of delivery. Actual registration in the MAStR (e.g., in the case of balcony power plants) is not decisive for operator status.
  • You provide us with proof that the conditions for applying the zero tax rate are met. It is sufficient if you, as the purchaser, declare in writing that you are the operator of the photovoltaic system and that it is an eligible building, or that the installed gross capacity of the photovoltaic system, according to the MAStR, does not exceed or will not exceed 30 kW (peak).

Should it subsequently become apparent that these conditions are not met despite your confirmation (e.g., through an external audit), you agree to the subsequent invoicing of the underpaid value-added tax.
